  We were doing our own winery tour in the area and Pippin Hill had been recommended to us. Upon arrival on a Saturday afternoon (around 3pm), a staff member at the entrance us that due to the number of people who were there and a wedding that was starting soon, they were at capacity and we were unable to go up to the tasting room. The staff member told us his job existed to inform people they were at capacity. They did give us a voucher in case we come back another time and they are at capacity, then we would still be allowed to enter and not be turned away a second time. Needless to say, we never got to taste the wine or see the property.

  Beautiful location. Excellent wines with a very friendly staff member. Didn’t eat there but the cheese plates looked good. Directions on GPS we’re trying to take us down a private drive but we figured that out. Expert tip: if you are visiting as a pair- each get one of the two tastings and share- that way you taste everything!
