  • I went here for the 1st time today with 2 of my granddaughters, 4 &7. They loved it. There are alot of tanks with all types of New England sea life. Several exhibits are "tough tanks" including small sharks. The kids enjoyed the play area and there is a reading area as well. We loved watching Darwin, a 20 year old tortoise, being fed leafy greens. Oh, extremely affordable!
  • This place was really awesome. I've been to some big aquariums before with dolphin shows and all that, but this place is very different. They have probably 100 tanks of various fish and aquatic creatures, most of them can be found in the local waters. There were several tanks where you could touch the fish, skates, sharks, and crabs. You can pick up urchins, stars, and hermit crabs. My kids got to feed the horseshoe crabs at 3pm. Additionally, this is a great place to bring the kids. There were several tables indoors suitable for a picnic lunch, and there was also a play area for smaller kids with some toddler toys. There were sinks for hand washing after touching the creatures, and of course restrooms. I paid $58 for two adults and four kids, so at that price the $100 membership looks attractive if I were local. Great place to beat the heat in the summer or the cabin fever in the winter!
