  • Great shopping and food here. We visited House of Blues and Flying Fish. They were both wonderful. We were in the area for three days and wound up wanting to do something here every day. Carolina Vineyard has wine tasting; 7 for $3. Several souvenir shops, Sweet Molly's ice cream was a little expensive but tasty. My husband and I both found sunglasses at a small kiosk 2 for $15; good quality for the price. Beware, IT'SUGAR does have a couple adult themed products that a young child that can read may ask questions about. They have a lot of unique (over-priced) products though.
  • Walking and strolling shopping and restaurants in an outdoor mall environment. Pleasant atmosphere and live music in the evenings. The docks and bridges add a nice flavor and views of the alligator in the water! Fairly commercial and touristy, but some gems still around like the homemade Fudge Shop and Black Market Minerals make it a fun place to wander. Has lost some of its charm from years ago, but has a lot more dining options. Worth a visit.
  • It's a great place for families. There is outdoor adventure such as goofy golf, mini drag cars, carnival rides and indoor arcade type. My son loved feeding the fish. There were machines that sold handfuls for a quarter. We passed a dessert place that had a girl singing and playing guitar. There are tons of shops and restaurants. I enjoyed sitting on the bench as my nieces and nephew played in the splash pad outside the goofy golf. My only complaint is it is all concrete with no real cover from the sun. Its blazing hot. As the sun began to go down it was really nice.
  • Barefoot Landing is one of the most remarkable places in South Carolina. It shows a wide variety of stores restaurant. It's like New York City around a lake. It has anything you can think of. You can leave in this place and we'll have everything you'll need in your life. The restaurants are beautiful they're just some of the best places in South Carolina. All the workers at Barefoot Landing are just outstanding they are so nice and generous and I'll do anything for you. For all those that need to take a bathroom break then and then there's tons of bathrooms and they're very strategically spread out through the place. So if you need to use the bathroom you're good.
  • I remember when this place first opened! It has come a long way, and I like that efforts are being made to revitalize it. They have made a lovely boardwalk in the back next to the waterway, and they had live music on the night we were there. It was not crowded at all on our lunchtime trip earlier in the week, so I was pleased to see such a good weekend/evening crowd. They have a good variety of stores and restaurants, and our family had a great time here.
