Went to Fairbanks, Alaska and of course had to go to North Pole! Read the comments, and yes, it's a big Christmas/souvenir shop...but the Reindeer Academy was really fun! 3 adults, myself, husband and his friend, had more fun than we expected feeding the reindeer! They rolled their eyes when I said I wanted to do it, but we all had fun and got some cute pics! It is off season, late afternoon, and the 3 of us were the only ones in there at 5 pm, which made it even better! The reindeer horns were magnificent and huge! The reindeer were mellow and wonderful, such beautiful animals!

I absolutely love what they've done with the place! They have given it a real face lift and modernized it in a great way! I love the way they have implemented the old antique items as decor. While I do miss the Santa throne room with all the toys, I think they did it justice in the remodel. Prices are a little high but that's to be expected in a tourist gift shop! Oh! and they have great coffee and hot chocolate and fudge here as well!
