  • We stopped by the Leffingwell House Musuem for the "Annual Return of Benedict Arnold" event and it was so much fun! The "leg of Benedict Arnold" was even gifted to the mayor. The other half of the event was tours throughout the house which showcased the unique history and storied past of the well-preserved house. The museum staff was very friendly and the tour guides were very knowledgeable. The museum is a great window into the past with a number of neat antiques! Definitely recommend checking it out to learn more of the history of the area! Before you go, be sure to pick up some of the amazing sweet and spicy chocolate in the "gift shop!" Definitely check it out!
  • Outstanding opening with live artillery (Brown's Company) and flint-lock firings. This was all I addition to some great docent work within the museum itself!! Please do not miss this gem of history moments from Route 395!
