The Ultimate Escape, Norwich

We had heard about escape rooms and decided to try one. Our group was me, my husband, my 15-year-old, and two adult aged friends. We did the Prince challenge and it was amazing. We arrived a little bit early but that wasn't an issue. The previous group just finished and the staff was resetting the room. They let us go in as soon as the releases were signed and the room was ready. The room was really well set up with lots of puzzles on different levels. Everyone was able to provide something towards solving them. Each riddle or puzzle lead to another clue which eventually led to all sorts of fun as we tried to figure out the various clues. The timer is displayed on a decent size screen, and the safe watch from hidden cameras so if they need to they can intervene. They can also send us messages on the screen if needed. I thought the room would be claustrophobic with all of us, my husband is 6'2 and my son is 5'7, but it wasn't. The rooms aren't huge but they fit our group of 5 fine. The set-up was really well laid out with a combination of puzzles and riddles. We didn't manage to solve everything in time but we had so much fun that we didn't care. I would recommend this for almost any mix of ages, however, I would not recommend it for just kids. Some of the riddles and puzzles would be very time consuming for younger children, but they could help locks once you have the code or gathering clues. There was also one puzzle that we had to have my husband do because only he and my son were tall enough to pull it off. (put that's all the clues you're getting from me. I can appreciate the time it took to devise all the clues and challenges.) I want to go back and do the room again, I'm competitive like that, but my husband wants to try the other room so we may do that one first. I've also heard that they are putting together a third room so I'm looking forward to that adventure as well.

Very fun "escape the room". Lots of interesting puzzles and family friendly. They have fours rooms with two different themes (spy and castle). Each theme has a two to four person room and a five to eight person room. All of the puzzles worked smoothly. I would recommend it to everyone.
