Montshire Museum of Science, Norwich

The Montshire Museum is a wonderful place to take children for a few hours. The hands-on exhibits are plentiful and educational. There's something for children of all ages, including an enclosed play area for children five and under. The museum is surrounded by beautiful grounds with fountains and many kids were playing in them when we visited today. I wish we'd known about this as I would've brought swimsuits along! The museum has a nice gift shop with science-themed toys and a few snacks. The museum is right across the bridge from Hanover, NH and Dartmouth so there are plenty of restaurants a couple minutes away.

Nice museum. Of course it is a bit smaller than Science Museum in Boston but it felt more modern. Geared towards kids but plenty of hands on for adults as well. Overall was a pleasant trip. We visited in the winter so did not explore the trails/park.
