  • This area has many birds, even rare ones. The boardwalk trail is one of the best birding spots during The Biggest Week in Birding. I suggest stopping at the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge after!  more »
  • Beach like experience on Lake Erie. Very clean and not very crowded. Pets are not allowed on some of the boardwalk trails. Lots of parking. Bird and butterfly delight!  more »
  • A Boardwalk winds through Warbler habitat with good areas for photos. Lake Erie is a short walk with West sister Island visible from shore. The Nature Center has many of the birds on display (as taxidermy items) for comparison of colors, sizes and relative habitats seen at this site as well as info on theirs ranges and other data. Best season for viewing Warblers is March-May.
  • Amazing ! I had so much fun walking around and enjoying time off with my boyfriend. He really did surprise me from the wonderful animal history to saving snapping turtles . A little bit of bugs during the summer time but bring big spray and you will have a blast !!! 10/10 will be back to visit ! @Artist_X_Photography
