  • We have been under the bridge several times whale watching, so it was cool to see the bridge and the pass up close. Such a lovely site.  more »
  • We chose several trails to explore. They were in great shape, we has some sunshine, and the bathrooms were even open. Who could ask for more on a beautiful spring afternoon?  more »

  • Deception Pass State Park is such an amazing location. Fabulous views. Great beach! Several picnic tables. Ample parking. Many trails for hiking. Wildlife abounds. Great for a family picnic or a peaceful escape. Conveniently located not too far off WA-20. During peak season, a day pass is $10 or you can use your Discover Pass ($30) for unlimited access. Pet stations available. Camping is also permitted (reference website for details).
  • Went overnight camping and was actually impressed with this place. I had camp spot 24 which was very secluded. Showers take tokens and if I remember right $1 gets you 6 minutes of shower time. I swear they run longer though. Very nice. Enjoyed walking my dogs through the campsites along the road. Would go there again.
