Beautiful beach. Awesome place to camp! The sites are privates and a good size. From the campground you have access to the beach, the lake and the trails all the way to the bridge and eve a little further, where you get a nice view from the top of the hill. The lake is one of my kids favorite activity to do during the summer. The water is nice and warm, there's a good sand area to build castle and picnic tables to snack. The trails are easy to intermediate it's not enough path to walk the whole day but It's definitely enough to keep the family busy for a few hours (2-3 with young children). That bridge is one of the most amazing places to be to catch the sunrise!!! 🤩
This is a gorgeous spot. I arrived early in the morning, and while the bridge was very active, the beaches were peaceful and calming. There’s some trails but I only walked from the beach up to the bridge. The views are amazing but it’s nerve-racking if you don’t like heights. If I had more time, I would have done a kayak tour because the water and mountains were stunning. Parking was easily available early morning but got somewhat full by 11:00 (on a weekday). Be aware that Discovery Pass is required to park.
