This was an interesting place to visit, and we learned a lot, but a little more depth and detail would have been helpful.

FLL Wright works are great. I highly recommend the tours offered even if you are not an architect. My favorite: Robie House and Wright studio.

Oh WOW - I knew I liked Frank Lloyd Wright's prairie-style modern architecture but being in his own home and seeing his studio is really incredible. I love how cozy everything is yet still filled with light. The hour-long tour is very friendly and interesting and it's just incredible to see inside his house and his mind. You don't enter on the Chicago street side, where his studio is - enter through the gift shop to the left side. Tours start there and go through his house first, then out through the studio. It's not to be missed!

Certainly worth the trip whenever you’re in the Chicago area. Impossible not to appreciate the beauty and influence of Frank Lloyd Wright’s own home and studio on the design world. Make sure this is part of your itinerary next time you’re near Lake Michigan! Highly recommend. Helpful staff also.
