  • Nothing but the best to share with you about the Mondavi winery! Absolute class. From our first trip in 2003 where we thoroughly enjoyed the wine and food pairing class and then highlighted the morning by bumping into the founder himself in the parking lot! (R.I.P. RM) Now many years later I've just cracked a bottle I bought there that day. Yes, drinking a wine older than my kids and it did not disappoint: lovely nose, great tannins, full body and finish. I'm so sad I've only one left. Worried it might have turned to vinegar but NO, it is savory and wonderful. Please buy and enjoy there wines, such stable production and quality is superb for a bottle at almost any price point. Better to buy the $20+ bottles to experience the true quality of their history. Mmmmm, can't wait to go back!
  • This place has good view to sit out and enjoy the wine. We tried the walk in wine tasting here. It was pretty crowded and was difficult to find a spot inside to sit. The lady helping was with wine tasting was nice, and pretty well versed with different wine making techniques and gave us one extra wine for comparison. However, I found the tour guide of our half hour tour to be not very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
