Our founders, the Thompsons, connected over a mutual love of animals, and thereafter discovered an unknown breed of horse, developed by British Gypsies, while traveling through the English countryside. After a four-year journey to understand these horses and the culture that created them, we took part in naming them: the Gypsy Vanner horse. The Gypsy Gold Farm is home to the first 16 registered horses of a breed that's now 5,000 animals strong. Our 40 acre ranch is an educational and cultural oasis, where visitors to Central Florida learn about one of the most colorful and least understood societies on earth and the magical Vanner Horses they envisioned.

  • Dennis gave an extraordinary talk on the history of the Gypsy Vanner horse breed and how his involvement with these horses evolved. It is a fascinating tour!

  • An experience like no other. The horses and farm are beautiful. Seeing the new life of the mules and donkey's was special.

  • Amazing place! Amazing owners! I was like a sponge... wanting to learn more and more! All of the animals and birds are so well cared for. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
  • The tour lasts 2 hours. There's an educational part where the owner shares the history of these horses and how he brought them to the USA and more. Then he takes around the farm you get to pet some of the animals. Beautiful horses 🥰
