This section of the Florida Trail is nice. From the parking lot westward toward I 75, the forest growth has a lot of old and large Live Oaks. The land bridge across I 75 is unique. The history about the cancel that was going to be dug across Florida was a pleasant history surprise. We did 3 mile in from the parking lot and 3 back and was a great way to spend the afternoon. The individual trails, one for bikes, one for hikers and one for horses is a cool idea.

One of the best singletrack tails anywhere....82 miles at Santos of all levels...land bridge is my favorite...much of the topography was created by the digging for the abandoned cross Florida canal years ago...created interesting and exciting trails.
