  • Gorgeous park. It’s well-kept, there are some beautiful views especially at the pier, the playground has all sorts of fun little rides on it, there’s even a shaded exercise area with a fence so kids below 10 can’t enter. There are informative posts about animals and plants the further you get into its more natural areas. I clearly didn’t take enough pictures but honestly there’s enough to do that I’m sure most people couldn’t. We visited during the off-season and it was a bit windy but we still had a ton of fun!
  • Northside Park was a nice park to visit for a change of pace from the beach and boardwalk. Plenty of benches throughout. Small dock for fishing the pond. Pavilion shaded with picnic tables by playground. Nice baseball fields. A dog friendly walking trail with doggie stations. Nice safe and decent size playground with good play structures. Restroom facilities attached to the concession stand as well as attached to the field house/concession stand for soccer fields by the wetlands walkway and a port-o-potty by the playground. Plenty of parking all around the walking trail to access the park. Some stationary workout equipment. A flag memorial. Kayak rentals available. Wide open fileds with grassy areas. Soda vending machines, water fountains, a concession stand for in-season baseball/softball games. Nice views throughout the park and definitely put on the Wetlands Pier. Best of all, it's absolutely something free to do!
