  • Very nice park area! Facilities were clean. Trail in good shape. We didn't see any wildlife, it was pretty hot and in the middle of the day. But overall a nice stop.
  • The walk, in-and-out took about an hour (I walked slow and nature spotted). Right before you go in, there's a poster with about six or eight plants/animals to keep an eye out for as you walk. There are plenty of signs along the path that teach you about what you're looking at. We went when it was raining and the canopy helped keep us dry. I recommend this stop! There's plenty of parking, there was a park ranger in the lot when we were there, and it's completely free.
