The Suncoast Center for Fine Scale Modeling, Odessa

I have never actually been to this place but,.. I can tell you that the staff is awesome if you need a question asked via email. they were pretty helpful and getting me some information on a model train. I honestly can't tell you what the museum looks like but based on the people that run it's worth going out take it a look at.

Weather it is Trains, history, or just some very interesting, completely unique and I must say "stunningly accurate" enormous moving models and scenes of old style train yards, this is the place. I went with my father on a weekend afternoon outing. We are both vets so we appreciated the military displays. We watched a free seminar about weathering wood for use in builds. We walked the entire museum and spent some time in the flrom room as well. This is a great thing to do weather you are adults or have a curious child this will be a hit for the day. I hope to visit again real soon.
