  • All around a great camping experience. The star gazing was incredible, and pets are allowed which made this trip even better!

  • One of my favorite places to photograph in Florida. Beautiful landscape. You do have to traverse dirt roads but they are well maintained and you can easily find places to pull over as traffic is...

  • This place is awesome for anyone. Singles, couples, families and pets. You have water, electric, showers and bathrooms. We seen so many animals, turkeys, tons of birds big as well as small. Dear with babies...super cute. Also it's only about 17 bucks a night. If it's a holiday then 25 bucks, you can't beat that or compare that to anything better in this beautiful nature preserve in "The Prairie". Also wonder staff, very friendly, helpful and they go beyond what they have to do. Love you everyone! God Bless 🙌 🙏 ❤️
  • Beautiful park with lots of trails both biking and hiking. Be sure to bring lots of water if hiking cause in February it was hot on the prairie. You take 5 miles of slight washboard dirt road to get to the campgrounds. There is also primitive camping (walk/bike in) about 2 to 3 miles out on prairie. Bathrooms were very clean with private lockable rooms. Be aware you are out in the wilderness (about 30 miles) with no stores or gas nearby...plan accordingly. Experience the Real Florida and dark starry skies!
