  • I expected very little but with my 3.5 year old this hike/ walk is PERFECT. We brought his balance bike, and it is flat enough that I don't have to worry, but still has lots of small dips here and there for him to go downhill and practice risk taking. I kind of like that there are no trees because I can see everything, who's coming down the trail, animals, etc. It feels very safe for this mom of 2 hiking without Dad around.
  • Really fun place to visit. The mounds are very interesting and there are about 4-5 miles of hiking trails starting at the parking lot. No dogs allowed, discovery park pass required.
