  • The West Bay Park is great for a quick peaceful stop to enjoy the view of The Olympia Marina, docks and some birds and wildlife. My favorite feature by far was the secret acoustic spot in the park where everything you say is amplified like a loud speaker, but only you can hear it! It was an unexpected surprise. It's not hard to figure out where it is. I dropped a star simply because I'm some areas of the small Beach you cash pick up a strong sulphur smell that can be a little overpowering.
  • Oops!! This review was for Percival Landing, not West Bay... This place can be rented for private events, something that is NOT well known. During the "overabundance of caution" shut down, when the weather improved, it became a haven for small groups and individuals. It's about the only public space unoccupied by drug addicts. There's an old ship buoy that kids like to throw rocks at. There's a small band stage and a wooden "tower" that's fun to ascend. It's kept clean. It's a great place to take your meal from the Farmer's Market to eat. Just a nice little spot with benches, steps, and grass for sitting.
