  • Choose a sunny day to visit, and views are totally rewarding. wheelchair accessible, drive all the way to the top possible in July, Aug. We were sceptical as we encountered the marine layer spreading, while we were driving up (3:30pm), but at the top it was clear day blue Sky spectacular view of cascade mountain peaks, deers grazing, soaking in the warmth very close to car parking. We took the ferry to Kingston from Seattle, visited lavender farm in sequim, and then drove up to hurricane ridge
  • Very scenic drive. Roads are extremely well maintained. There was some construction today that I believe runs through September. Slight delays close to the top as a one lane road was in place. Paved trails were lovely. Worth a trip.
