The park also attracts bird-watchers with the chance of seeing herons, egrets and, possibly, bald eagles. The park is home to the Kirbo Interpretive Center, which teaches visitors about Native Americans and displays snakes, turtles, fish, and other artifacts from prehistoric times to the early 20th century. • We camped here in our trailer so we could go to Providence Canyon. Clean facilities, nice little store. They were re-carpeting the mini golf while we were there so didn't get to play.

  • I love this park. So peaceful. The spaces between campsites are perfectly spaced. Very cozy and comfortable.
  • This park was just wonderful! Our two bedroom cabin looked brand new and very modern, and had great amenities - granite counters, electric fireplace, large living room/kitchen area, huge screened in porch, large comfortable bedrooms, ice cold a/c, plenty of towels and pretty much everything you could need for cooking, both indoors and out. Our cabin over-looked the marina and was very clean. We highly recommend this location for boating or visiting Providence State Park, which is only 8 miles down the road. We brought all our food since there didn't seem to be a store, or restaurant anywhere nearby. Staff extremely friendly. We will definitely be back!
