  Ancient sacred place. Museum is very well done. So impressed with how well the information regarding prior civilizations from this area is presented. I look forward to returning in fall so l can hike more of trails

  Off the beaten path in often-overlooked, this super cool Fort Plain and vital role in Revolutionary War history, and it is definitely worth a visit. It would be five stars but many of the displays are aged and in need of updating. Number of the information panels are faded and covered in yellowed and cracked plexiglass. With infrequent tours, it would be nice to have some better self-guided tour materials. With a little infusion of money and some thoughtful programming this place would be awesome.
