  • Issue with the wife's ticket was quickly sorted out by guest relations when we got got the window. Standing in the queue for this could have been better if there was some shade as today was really hot. Park itself has lots of friendly staff and wait times were quicker than what was being advertised which was a bonus. Whilst waiting in the Toy Story Land area we witnessed several Toy Soldiers parades and the interaction on these with the smaller children was fantastic and is why Disney is such a special place. Overall a great day and can't wait to go back when the Star Wars area is finishes to se how that is and if the rest of the park is anything to go by it will be worth it
  • Toy story land just opened so it was crowded and very busy. The sun was a major factor and too many people were scrambling for too few shady spots. They had big umbrellas along the lines for guests waiting to get on a ride, etc. But, if you were waiting outside the line for your party, there was little to no shade at all. The rides were fun but very short duration. If you didn't utilize the Fast Pass option, you waited in line for at least an hour for a 2 minute ride. Seating at the food area was severely lacking and as soon as a table was vacated there was a mad dash to claim it. The characters were all very personable and spent a good amount of time with each guest. The design of the rides was well thought out and everything was running quite smoothly. The other parks in Hollywood Studios were a lot of fun with a great variety of options for all ages. A great place for the whole family to get together and spend some quality time having fun.
  • This is my second favorite Disney park. It’s always fun and exciting and the thrill rides are great. There’s not much to do now, but they’re expanding and building more things so there’s always more to come! Tower of Terror is my favorite place to visit—I love the atmosphere! Also the new Toy Story Land is super cute and fun to experience. There’s lots of things to do there even if you don’t want to wait in the long lines for the new rides. This park isn’t the best for little kids, however. (They do have several things for kids, but definitely not as kid-friendly as Magic Kingdom.)
  • The Toy Story Land is now open with two new rides. The Slinky Dog Coaster is a delightful ride that is suitable for all ages that meet the height requirements. It provides enough of the coaster experience for kids of all ages but is a very smooth ride that will not jar older riders. FAST PASSES ARE A MUST since wait times over an hour are common for the standby riders. The classic Tower of Terror and Rock and Roll Roller Coaster rides never fail to thrill riders even for those who ride then frequently. The closure of the Great Movie Ride is a minus but there is enough things to do and see for all ages. STAR WAR's fans will enjoy the March of the First Order and the Force mini shows. Construction of the new Star Wars land continues.
  • Newly remodeled! This park is a giant expansion to explore all the animated and live action movies that Disney either made or acquired. Toy Story land is more than we expected. The green soldiers are often overlooked, but they make it an interactive experience between the drum band, and the hilarious conversations they have with the kids. StarWars Land is not open yet, but the Star Wars Launch Bay gives a pretty good idea on the sophisticated level of immersion to expect. Some of the original attractions remain, but even The Great Movie Ride got replaced with what everyone loves, the very first Mickey Mouse ride. I'm looking forward to experiencing the changes in the future.
