  • Don't miss this fireworks display - it's amazing. You don't have stand near the castle to see it all.

  • A great place to visit with kids between 2 and 11 years of age. It's part of Disney world. Kids under two are free. Lots to do for families. The Theme rides, and shows are entertaining. It was very crowded in some areas. I would recommend getting lightning passes for some of the more popular rides as the waits can be long. We waited 70 minutes for The Pirates of the Caribbean theme ride. But no wait for Splash Mountain with the lightning pass, and a very short wait for the Jungle Cruise. Best fireworks show I have ever seen. I probably wouldn't visit the Magic Kingdom without kids. Maybe one of the other parks within Disney World. Tickets are pricey starting at $109.00 per person
  • I live in Florida not far from Disney and I carry a season pass so I frequent Disney parks quite frequently. Yesterday I got to witness something I had never seen before and it brought tears to my eyes and hope in my heart. Everyday at 5 p.m. in the Magic Kingdom at the center where the American flag flies they do a special ceremony of lowering the flag. Prior to this event at some point they pick a veteran or a current military enlistee from the crowd or from a booking at one of the resorts. How it's done is somewhat of a secret nobody really knows. Then they honor that veteran, that service member at the lowering of the flag. His family, wife, children are present for this ceremony then they present this veteran with the flag. With the Ensemble of the band and those taking part in the ceremony they are marched down Main Street to a special area for a private ceremony then the veteran is given the flag. I know a lot of people like to complain about the prices at Disney but when you look around and see everything that Disney does for the community for the parks and for those that serve us well let's just say I'm grateful for Disney. And thank you Disney for providing such a wonderful experience. Your facilities inside and out are always clean people are always kind and friendly and I appreciate that and all the efforts you take to make the visit of every person every child as special as it can be. Thank you
