Join the Rebellion
Climb in to the Starspeeder 1000 with old friends C-3PO and R2-D2, along with new additions Star Tours Pilot "Ace" AC-38 and Spokesbot Aly San San. When you board, several different journeys await. You might take flight in a Tatooine podrace or weave through the city planet of Coruscant. You could find yourself on the run from Boba Fett or meeting Princess Leia. You'll never know which characters and worlds you will encounter.
But, Beware! Darth Vader could attempt to create a disturbance in the Force. A showdown may be inevitable.
Hopefully, the Force will be with you.

Hubby and I went on this ride and it was really a lot of fun....just too short of a ride. You enter a room (starship), buckle up, put on your 3D glasses, and off we go into the wild outer space, rocki... more »

The years have not been so kind. We rode this several years ago after it was updated. The scenes that it takes you through are a lot of fun as a Star Wars fan. But, the ride itself is surprisingly one of the most nausea inducing for myself and several others in our group. I'm not sure if it's the older 3D tech, the ride motion, or the combination - but it is a hard ride to go on for me. Still, if you're a fan, it is worth taking, particularly while the new Star Wars area of the park isn't ready yet. Hopefully, this will get a technology update soon along with scenes from the latest movies.
This has always been a must ride for us and any Star Wars enthusiast. It is a spectacular simulation of space travel with a lot of twists and turns, though not overly bumpy. There are also a number of random branching story lines based on the simulator you are assigned. The wait is also cool and well covered outside with shade provided by trees of Endor.
