Hosting more than 8 million guests each year, Universal's Islands of Adventure ranks among the world's top theme parks. It features several distinctly themed areas, each with an eye toward adventure. You can explore a world of superheroes and cartoon characters on the park's roller coaster and train rides, or choose from a range of interactive live shows. As you journey through the islands, look out for Spider-Man, Harry Potter, and a slew of characters straight out of Dr. Seuss' imagination. The park includes several rest areas where you can sit down for a quiet meal or pick up a few souvenirs. Save money and time by booking your park experience well in advance. There's an on-site hotel. Universal's Islands of Adventure Reviews
Love this place. We had such a great holiday, visited numerous times over the two weeks we were there. Just watch for the waiting times on newer attractions. more »
The park itself was good - attractions are well done. The waits on lines - 3 hours for Hagrid ride that closes randomly for hours in the middle of the day really spoiled the experience for the whole.... more »
Where do you even begin? This place is MAGICAL. There’s always something new to see or do! From the sweet characters in Seuss World, the awesome photo opportunities in Marvel world, the “comical” comic strip, the slightly scary adventure through the Jurassic park... and of course... the absolutely breathtaking experience of Harry Potter world... this place as a whole is just incredible... my personal favorite is Harry Potter world. The attention to detail makes you feel like you are right there in the movie set. I do miss the Dueling Dragons ride- but they replaced that with the new “Hagrid’s motor bike” ride- and OH MY GOODNESS it’s AMAZING!!! -absolutely worth the wait in line!! I do recommend getting the all day drink cup, as it does get HOT in the summer, and you can refill your cup every hour.
So much fun! We don't usually include theme parks in our vacation plans, but because the entire family now loves Harry Potter and roller coasters we went. We spent one entire day in the one park and loved it...if we hadn't been so tired in the evening we'd have stayed for a nice dinner in City Walk.
