Spectacular views! What an amazing place! Tree root stair cases?!? Are you kidding?!? The second half was WAY harder than the first...but well worth it!

This trail was really beautiful and not difficult, but there were a few muddy spots and some slightly steep terrain. The view at the top of the first segment is spectacular! There are 3 segments to the trail that leads from inside the forest out to a meadow that overlooks the ocean below (see my photos). That is where we stoped (elevation 1217 ft), but there is more beyond that point that drops toward the ocean. Definitely worth the short hike. PARKING: The gravel road that leads to the trail head is about a mile or more. It is very narrow but there are a few pullout spots. I was not a fan of driving it!
