Ouray County Museum, Ouray

Loved this museum! Didn't expect the amount of artifacts and exhibit rooms that this building holds. There are even cabins and an old barn to see outside! I am a huge history buff and this museum definitely delivered! So many neat exhibit rooms: don't miss out on the mineral rooms in the basement nor the doctor/dentist/hospital exhibits upstairs either! We spent several hours here, but could have easily spent several more, simply to see and read everything they had on display. Highly recommend visiting this museum if you are in Ouray!
