  • I Love the Johnson County Museum…why well there is a new special exhibit about 2 times a year. It is affordable. I really like seeing the all electric house from the 60’s with all it’s time capsule furnishings and decor. I also like how they decorate it at Christmas with it’s tinsel tree. This home used to be 2 blocks from me when it was donated to the museum and moved per wide load trucks to the previous location of the museum. I also like all the history about JoCo and the civil war. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours if you like to read everything.
  • Great day trip for people of all ages. Kidscape is my favorite place to bring my kids when we need to get out of the house. It’s self-contained, which is HUGE when you have 4 kids like I do! The museum itself is very interesting, and the electric house is so cool for everyone to see what life in Johnson County used to be like. Highly recommend!!
