Hueston Woods State Park is a state park located in Butler and Preble counties of the U.S. state of Ohio, about five miles (8 km) northeast of Oxford in the southwestern part of the state. The park lies in Oxford Township, Butler County, and Israel Township, Preble County. It has nearly 3,000 acres (1,200 ha), including a man-made lake of 625 acres (253 ha). The park's beech-maple climax forest has been designated a National Natural Landmark.

This is a really nice state park situated around a lake. We went to the large sandy beach but they also have camping, horse trails, mountain bike trails and a lodge. We were there midweek in... more »

Awesome place!!! Beautiful beach, nice playground and very nice camp sites. I took my daughter here for her first time camping we both had a blast! Love that they have different activities too. They had a dance party when we were there. So much fun!

Tons of hiking available and the trails are well maintained. They have a massive lake and a beach for all to enjoy! They have a nice disc golf course, horseback riding, and camping is available. Nice park to escape the businesses of life and enjoy the outdoors.
