  • We stopped here after seeing the billboards. It was a little pricey ($20 for an adult ticket) but the history of the cave and surrounding area was worth the stop. The cave was beautiful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The tour path was easy and flat with no tight places to squeeze through or low areas to hit your head. The gift shop was small but quaint. It was a great way to spend a couple of hours in the peace and quiet.
  • If you are wanting something not at all touristy and an actual cave tour, this is 100% it. Tons of cave creatures, this is seriously awesome. You get to go into a cave and be a part of it, not just looking at it. We did the “Wild Cave Tour” and it was absolutely amazing. Waneetta set everything up and Kevin led the tour. We walked to the end of the elevated concrete pathway, at this point Kevin said “this is where our tour begins”. We climbed off of it into the cave, waded through knee deep crystal clear water and began our adventure. Salamanders everywhere, frogs, weird white crawdads, gold and silver bacteria growing on the ceiling. Kevin led us every step of the way telling us about history, biology, and geology. He was very knowledgeable and showed us fossils embedded in the sides of the cave like extinct sharks teeth and prehistoric animals. My wife was a little hesitant but our guide made us feel completely safe. If you want something more than a typical cave tour do this. Could not have asked for more. This was truly a perfect experience.
