Beautiful state park which is a DESIGNATED HORSE PARK. Because it’s a horse park, it would be nice if people wouldn’t dig holes and leave them. Not even safe. Make sure you’re keeping an eye out for..... more

It was windy and wet while we were there. But not that cold. The waves were magnificent and the clouds ever shifting. We took our shoes off and luxuriated in the light sand. There wasn’t a lot of flotsam and jetsam from the storm. Barely a thing to pick up and wonder over. But that was OK because we were on to more adventures that day. I got to take my best friend from high school here, it was the first time that she got to see the ocean in person. She was giddy with delight and I don’t blame her.
