  • I am not a quilter, but my wife is. It was her idea to visit the museum. The quilts displayed showed the talents of many people and covered a wide variety of designs. The one i found most interesting had signatures of famous people from my life including presidents and their wives, actors, scientists, musicians, astronauts, and others. Even our grandchildren enjoyed seeing the various quilts and selecting their favorites. The gift shop was also popular with them.
  • Beautiful quilts adorn the walls of this museum. Some very old with historical or meaningful significance. Some are past winners from our National American Quilters Society Show and Contest. A great place to bring a family or a group; small or large for a visit. They have a nominal fee to tour the museum. Do plan to stay for some time to take in all the quilts and great history behind them!
