  • We visited here when we were visiting Paducah last week. The quilts in this museum are not regular quilts. These quilts are works of art. There is one that is so large that it would probably fit on three king beds. There are a group of quilts that look like squares until you look at them through your phone. One of these quilts looks like the Mona Lisa when viewed through your phone's camera. It is really amazing. There also is a wooden quilt that can be viewed. When I first saw it I dis not think it possible to be wood but the artist created it creating a great illusion. It is great.
  • If you enjoy quilts or quilting this museum is truly a wonderful place. They have many quilts on display. There are various traveling quilt exhibitions that are shown at the gallery too! The range of quilts is amazing. Guided tours are available for an extra charge over the price of regular admission. The staff is very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.
