Pahrump Valley Winery & Symphony's Restaurant, owned by Proprietors & Vintners Bill and Gretchen Loken since 2005, is Nevada's most popular and largest selling winery. The Loken’s are helping pioneer the way for a wine industry in Nevada. Their '05 Nevada Ridge Zinfandel released in 2008 marked the beginning of an award-winning, grape-growing industry, with the wine produced from zinfandel grapes grown solely at the vineyard. The Winery has received over 325 national wine awards and just Won Double Gold for Nevada’s first-ever Primitivo wine. The Loken's have expanded the vineyard from 350 vines to its current 1,500-plus vines of Zinfandel and Syrah grapes planted amidst 5 acres. The picturesque Pahrump Valley Winery and its Zagat-rated Symphony’s Restaurant, with a spectacular view of the Mt. Charleston Peak, are nestled on 10 acres at 3810 Winery Road, Pahrump, NV and open daily. Wine tastings, winery tours, and weddings at the beautiful rose garden gazebo are offered. Grape Stomp Annual Festival held 2nd weekend of October. Our experience here was great. My husband and I went for the first time a few weeks ago. Food was delicious and our waitress was very knowledgeable about all the wines. She was very professional and made sure we had a great time. She even came over and apologized numerous times for another table being so rowdy. She was very very accommodating. We will definitely be back. The lady at the bar was beyond nice and super fun to sit and talk with. Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a date night or to just experience something new.
It took me 13 years living in Vegas but I finally made it to Pahrump Valley Winery. Well worth the hour drive. Service was great! What ever time you make your reservation for come 30 min prior and for $5 you can sit at the wine bar and try 8 different wines. Also if I have to recommend something from the menu, you have to try their lobster bisque, really good!
