Colterris at the Overlook, Palisade

Beautiful place with amazing views and terrific wine. We scheduled a wine tasting in advance and we're not disappointed the server was great with her recommendations and service were fantastic. I highly recommend planning your tasting ahead of time and making your reservations online.

Having tasted wine in numerous premier regions around the world, I was a bit skeptical of Colorado wines. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised. While not on par with Napa or Sonoma or even Washington state, their wines (all Bordeaux varietals here) are extremely good, especially Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Tasting experience was well done, seven wines in our flight Plus nice etched wine glasses to take home in the tasting card if you book in advance for their premium tasting. If you're in the area, definitely try Colterris.
