The Independence Mine State Historical Park’s visitor center and Friends of State Parks bookstore will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Guided walking tours of the Independence Mine complex available three times a day: at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays.

Vehicle access to the park is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesdays through Sundays.

Please note that the gate on the 1-mile access road to the historic mine and visitor center will be closed at all other times, including Mondays and Tuesdays.

The park will remain open to pedestrian use at all times, with visitor parking available at the Independence Mine Bowl parking lot.
