Mark was an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The facility it self is well kept and has the animals best interests in mind 24/7. From bottle feeding to rut safety I was very impressed and would most certainly visit again!
Neat and informative visit to the musk ox farm where I learned a lot about the musk ox, most notably that they are not part of the ox family. The staff take great care to explain how the animals are housed and cared for. Not a petting zoo so there is limited interaction between guests and the animals with the exception of the chance to feed the younger musk oxen in their pen at the end of the tour (only did the tour once so not sure if this is available on every tour). Highly recommend this tour. Admission fees help run the farm and there is a gift shop where the must ox hair (called Qiviut) is made into hats and scarves.
