  • Amazing place! Walking on the very same ground that many native indians once lived and the village once stood .Time had somehow turned back and I could see their village and all the people that once lived there.Nice board walks, railings, and carved wooden posters informing the public of such a great nation and people that once stood there. My thanks to PARKS AND RECREATION OF MANATEE COUNTY.Well done!
  • This is the best park in Palmetto and arguably in the whole County. Beautiful trails traverse Mangrove forests, uplands, freshwater ponds, tropical hammock, and an ancient native American shell mound. Have a picnic, go fishing, swimming, launch your boat, walk the shaded trails. Tons of wildlife to observe and enjoy.
