Opened in 2009 at Pier Park, Miracle Strip Amusement Park is a smaller version of a beloved amusement park of the same name that was open from 1963 to 2004. At this retro amusement park, you'll discover the 1964 carousel, 1985 Zamparella balloon race, and 1952 Allen Herschel red baron that were part of the first amusement park and have been restored. Hop on classic rides like a Ferris wheel, scrambler, and tilt-a-whirl, a rollercoaster. All of the rides date between 1937 and 1991 and were refurbished for the park. Admission to the park is free; you pay for each individual ride, or you can purchase armbands for unlimited rides. Miracle Strip Amusement Park reviews
About 5 to 8 bucks a ride. It's located at the end of the Pier Park Mall. My husband & I rode the Ferris wheel the day after our wedding, it was a romantic ride, right at sunset. It's just a few..... more »
I grew up going to the original Miracle Strip in the 1960s. I took my children in the 1990s. Then finally last year I took my grandson. It was the best value in town. It was CLEAN and the people... more »
I had great summers here in the late 90’s til original closing. Pretty hilarious it still shows hours. I guess the worst part was it was closed and sold for condominium development and look that went bust. Without this interest from wealthy development pushing you in the first place. This place could have stayed open and who knows maybe currently operating today.
This park is slightly expensive to get into, but it was worth it for us. The front half of the park is great for smaller children- very cute little roller coasters. We didn't spend that much time there because we don't have little ones but it looked fabulous. Then, you cross over a beautifully whimsical bridge with a *AMAZINGLY FUN* zip line to the left. Then you are in the part of the park meant for older people. We went on the Scrambler, the Bumper Cars, the Tilt-a-Whirl, the Sea Dragon, and the roller coaster that I cannot recall the name of. All of these rides were MAGNIFICENT. they were fast and fun and not for the faint of heart! We had a blast. One of the best parts for me was the fact that many of the rides are original versions from the 1960s and 1970s. It bothered me to see that the other reviews were so negative because of this- the rides are older. Yes, the roller coaster has to be pushed to start. That is how it has always been- even in 1970. The roller coaster is fun and good as new. The rides are perfectly safe so do not worry about the safety aspect. Miracle strip is a beautiful, whimsical, great place for people of ALL ages. We had a great time and will gladly go back!
