  • Parkville Nature Sanctuary is an amazing for place hiking in the woods. It is located downstream of the Riss Lake dam, and the Alloe Creek runs through the Sanctuary. There are several loop trails.....  more »
  • Great & peaceful atmosphere. Stress free zone. I am so glad they don't allow dogs or bikes. There are plenty of other places that do, so it is nice that I don't have to worry about a dog that might be barking or a biker going by too fast. It really is a no worry zone! Cool breezes coming off the water, shade, and soft pathways.
  • This trail is beautiful with lots of nature. Waterfall, lots of butterflies, Deer, turkey, wood chucks, etc...walked right up on the trail. The only thing I don't like is that pets aren't allowed....but I understand because there are many pet parents that don't pick up after their dogs, plus they would scare the wildlife. Other than that, I'd recommend it to anyone!
