  • Relatively clean. Fun place for dogs to run free and play on the dog beach. But it was crowded. The beach area isn't that big esp when you have a good dozen larger breeds running into the turf. Public bathrooms are nearby the dog beach. The park has paved trails to walk along. Several pavilions for general use or you can reserve with ample parking for all. Outdoor play ground for kids though which is not covered for really hot summer days. Overall, enjoyed the park. If you live with 20 minutes, a year pass is a good deal. Always check your dog for ticks after going to wooded or grassland areas.
  • Drove past it the first day. Huge walking trails, great spot for family fun and even better area for the animals. Playground is awesome for the kids. Water was extremely dirty but given they don't want you swimming or wading there- could see why. Still a nice spot to relax in. Was $6 to enter it but very reasonable.
