Venessa was so much fun. She made the stop there even more enjoyable. The building is lovely. The vineyards, structures, and surrounding areas made sitting there sipping wine a most relaxing occasion.... more »
Spectacular tasting room. Love that it has a bit of a Martha's Vineyard type feel. Excellent views. Tasting room staff was friendly and informative. We enjoyed some tasty plates from their new food menu. Recommend the goat cheese with red pepper pesto. The zinfandel was a standout and looking forward to opening the sauvignon blanc on a hot day!
This is one of my favorite wineries in Paso for so many reasons. First, the staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about wine & welcoming. No pretension, just genuine hospitality. Their owner/winemaker, Dave, is often found in the tasting room welcoming guests and chatting about his wines and his story. It’s also stunningly beautiful. Every detail is thought through so that you’re always enjoying excellent views and feel comfortable and at home. They also have a chef on-site so on weekends you can enjoy amazing food and wine pairings (they also have small plates and the Best charcuterie available during the weekdays). This does mean you can’t bring outside food with you, so just don’t make this your lunch stop. There are lots of great wineries nearby that allow you to bring outside food though, then you can enjoy a tasting at Parrish before or after. Finally, their wine is amazing. Nearly everything they produce is Estate grown here in Paso, and they focus on Bordeaux varieties, with an emphasis on great Cabernet Sauvignon - though their Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc (& everything really) are also excellent. This place is such a gem in Paso and a must visit whether this is your first time to the area, you’re here all the time or you’re a local...😃
