    My wife and I went through the museum on November 2015. We enjoyed the various displays and the staff was very helpful and had some good stories. Even though I am not from Payson but another Utah...

    Peteetneet Museum is housed in the original building of a school house used from the early 1900. It has been restored in parts and original in other parts. The rooms designated for the museum house.....  more

    The Peteetneet is open Mon-Fri, 10am-4pm. It is a former gradeschool building that is now a historical museum. It's got roughly 10 rooms filled with artifacts, replicas, and info, mostly relating to Payson and its history. I believe it's operated mostly by volunteers- when I went a sweet older lady showed me around. I only wish it were open on Saturday so my working husband could visit too (although the lady did say if we asked they might be able to be there). If you enjoy history, it's worth a visit!

    This is one of Utah County's best place for sledding hands down. Lots of space and it's right in town.
