I'm surprised it's taken me two years to check this place out! It's amazing! I had no idea that the park was so large and had so many things to do. The bird sanctuary was very neat to see. We had some people in our party that didn't care to hike too long or too hard of a trail, so the trail down to the waterfalls was perfect. Nice views, but not too strenuous. I can't wait to go back and see more.
Beautiful park with lots to see and do on 10,000 acres. Numerous trails, lakes, playgrounds and exhibits. The best petting zoo we have seen with very friendly workers and animals. RV campground was clean and quiet in a pretty setting. The park is a great place to spend a few fun days with family and the area has real Southern Hospitality. Also recommended Golden Rule for great barbeque nearby.
