OUR CORE VALUES:
We believe that a kid can be anything they want to be. They need only the opportunity and inspiration to imagine, practice, and become.
We believe that we are more effective when we collaborate with others. Collaboration with individuals and organizations throughout and beyond Peoria allows us to effectively support families and achieve shared goals.
We believe that the PlayHouse is for all children and families, regardless of income, abilities, or background.
We believe that we are catalysts. A good museum experience sparks experiences and ideas that happen after and between visits. Who knows where a visit to the PlayHouse might lead?
Peoria PlayHouse Children's Museum Reviews
I was concerned there may not be enough here to interest my older kid (10), but both he and his 6 year old brother (and I!) had so much fun here. The exhibits were very engaging, clean, and varied... more »

We hosted my son's birthday here. Play houses are really great place for the kids and even hold some interest for you adults out there who live and let the child within you roam free. Tons of great activities. Having a birthday party there is great they have an employee of the playhouse with you throughout the whole process to help you set up and take it down. I was slightly disappointed that the kinetic sand box was closed off at the time however I am definitely looking forward to seeing the new dino Discovery area. Overall I definitely give it a 5 out of 5 and if you're looking for something fun to do for the kids then this is definitely a great place to go
Very nice children's museum. Our daughter is 2-1/2 and she had a great time exploring the entire facility. It's nice that it's also within a park district so there's equipment all around the facility for the children to play on. The botanical gardens and I believe a zoo is within walking distance as well. Definitely worth the time if you have little kiddo's.
