<3 Don't Panic, it's Organic!

The first organic strawberry farm in California, Swanton has become known for super sweet, red, ripe and sustainable strawberries as well as blackberries, olallieberries, loganberries, kiwis, and a variety of vegetables.

Stop into our farm stand, located right on HWY 1 across from the beautiful pacific ocean, for world famous strawberry shortcakes, pies, coffee, mexican hot cocoa, truffles, cobblers, and a whole mess of other delicious treats! Not to mention fun games, good books and great music.

U-Pick Fruits are one of our greatest attractions, see where your food actually comes from when you wander out into one of our lovely fields of plenty to pick your own strawberries, olallieberries, blackberries, or kiwis, depending on the season. Nothing beats super fresh fruit and a day of fun in the sun!

  • More than a berry farm, Swanson offers you a full experience and reinforce the faith in other people. You can pick up your own strawberry from the planting, comeback to weight and pay. They have this ...  more »
  • It is a organic U-Pick. There are muddy fields, shoes, trekking shoes put on congenial. We get a great deal when strawberries are. Toilets are not only simple. More pets are not allowed in the field. You must go to the store if you shop too here want to buy jam, further South. Use the card.

  • I recommend anyone who is interested in this place to drop by especially if it's along your route on hwy 1. This establishment has been here for a bit and has a rich history being that it was one of the first to promote better pay for all its employees and unionized its worker. The pies and jams that they have here are really good to very good in terms of the pies that I've seen and encountered in the urban scene. The strawberry/berry jam is a definite in my book and goes so well with toasted bread. With plenty of parking spaces and two picnic tables it is really a hidden gem. For those wanting their food to go, there is also davenport landing beach which is just a few minutes away and offers you a scenic view on the beach as you chill and enjoy your pie or jam.
  • A regular stop for me on a coast drive. Stop, stretch my legs and grab a cup of coffee and a couple of jars of fresh jams and jellies, baked goods, or fresh fruits. Pretty cool photo ops, too.
