Another fabulous New Hampshire state park especially during fall colors. Very friendly park staff and trails are easy to trek. Auto road takes you to the summit, so very convenient if part of the group can not hike and rather meet up at the top.

Been going here for fifty years. In that time it has hardly changed, which is fine by me. You have your choice of a foot path or a road to get to the top. The road is narrow and twisty; wouldn't recommend large cars or trucks. There's picnic tables, bathrooms and access to the open summit, allowing magnificent views northward. Energetic hikers can continue on to North Pack. Make sure to dress well; even on warmer days the winds can be cool.
