  • Love this park. The Auto road is a quick little drive to the top with some amazing views but you can also hike if you prefer.  more »
  • Nice hiking trails and road to the top of Pack Monadnock. This is a short (but pretty steep) hike that is good for families. The scenery is fairly dull, but the views from top more than make up for it. On a clear day, you can see Boston. Dog friendly - the rangers even had treats. It does cost a few bucks to park.
  • Super friendly staff - especially Laura! Surprisingly challenging trails with plenty of rock and roots to surmount. The Wapack Trail to the too can be completed in 30 minutes if you keep a steady pace, though you will sweat. The views are fantastic, along the trail and at the top. Being able to climb the observation tower was amazing!
