Monadnock Center for History and Culture, Peterborough

Came here for the Phoenix Mill living history day and it was awesome. The fellow in the room with the spinning wheels was incredibly knowledgeable. I didn't know I was interested in the history of textile making in New England until yesterday. We'll be making this a regular part of our calendar.

Having attended events and exhibits at this area and having worked with this organization, I give it top marks. Everyone there is friendly and open-handed. Moreover, there's a spirit of innovation and cooperation which is delightful to be around. I love being a member and learning about their events. And here's something rare in my experience; I made a casual suggestion to optimize the exhibit space that was received good-naturedly, considered and implemented right way.
