Beautiful park. Great place to walk with the family and little ones even if you venture of the beaten path. Well worth the stop if you like nature and are in the city. Will come back again for sure.

Really cool trails on both sides of the river, right through the heart of town. The park and decorative area underneath the bridge near the mouth make great event locations. Helpful for scouting out portage/pull-out areas, as the river has some 5-7' drops at the very end, especially fast in the spring, not passable by most kayakers
