  • Petoskey State Park has a great beach area for northern Michigan. Plenty of parking. Restrooms available. And it's a great place to search for Petoskey stones!

  • 2022 Review: Everything is just as great as it was last year! Campsite 111 is still perfect! 2021 Review: Great campground! Highly recommend site number 111. You get a private little trail to the beach with amazing views! So many Petoskey stones to hunt for on the beach. We hiked the trails through the park one morning and saw the slug in the picture. It's so convenient to ride bikes to downtown Petoskey from here too- the bike path connects right to the park! 15 minutes and you're there, and the whole downtown is bike friendly! We will be back! While visiting we talked about moving here, we liked it so much!
  • We had a great time, there are walking trails at the park. A couple of them are for experienced walkers/hikers but a couple are easier. The lake was amazing and there was plenty of parking and there is a changing area with bathrooms and food available. They also have water toys for rent. Just an FYI, if you are parking for the day, there is a ranger station but they only take cash.
